We
love Thailand, but...
In over 40 trips between 2000 and 2010 we have
traveled extensively around Thailand and visited 67 of the 76 provinces.
We have visited over 1000 temples and dozens of parks and waterfalls and
attended many festivals and celebrations. However, we are taking a
little breather now. The ongoing protests with the red-shirted mob is
getting onto our nerves, as are street blockages and railway strikes.
Lets give the country a chance to re-organize itself first. |

First
trip to Thailand?
How lucky we were! Lost on the big square
in front of the Royal Palace in Bangkok we got lucky and met a tuk-tuk
driver who's wife worked in Germany (actually really close to our home).
He missed her and earned money by driving tourists through Bangkok.
Luckily today was a big promotion with free gasoline for tuk-tuk
drivers. more... |
